Body Bliss Helps Sponsor Hospitality for H.O.P.E. Event with Four Seasons Resort
Supporting charity is a core value at Body Bliss. Over the years, we have proudly donated funds and products to a variety of environmental and community initiatives. One of the areas near and dear to our hearts are efforts to raise funds to cure diseases such as cancer, which affects us all throughout our lives.
This year, Body Bliss was proud to help sponsor the Second Annual Hospitality for H.O.P.E. Golf Classic on June 19th. Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale and Troon North Golf Club hosted hundreds of leaders from the Arizona tourism industry in support of the event, which benefited the HOPE team at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Goodyear. With the money raised, the cancer patients get to enjoy Sedona trips, dinners, movies and many other activities to clear their minds and forget about living with their illness, even if only for a little while.
The event was also hosted in memory of a local hotelier, Gerard Mauvis, who passed away last year in a tragic accident. He was the Resort Manager at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Gerard was a much-beloved friend to many, and an industry staple in the local community. Half of the proceeds from this year's event will benefit his family and son, Will (who has a disability).
In addition to becoming an event sponsor, Body Bliss contributed a $250 gift basket full of aromatherapy essentials for the silent auction.
